Bible Study for Busy Mamas – 30 Days in 1 Corinthians 13 {Review}

Any busy mama knows that finding time for anything, including bible studies, can be a struggle. But with Bible Study for Busy Mamas – 30 Days in 1 Corinthians 13, by Pam Forster, you can complete this study with only 5 or 10 minutes each day. That time can definitely be carved out of my busy schedule!

It’s not easy, getting into the Word when your house is full of little ones who need you twenty-four hours a day—but this study will help!

Here is a simple but deep approach to Bible study, divided into bite-size portions that will leave you encouraged and excited as you discover that you do have time for meaningful Bible study.

By giving you bite-size study assignments, five to ten minutes per day for thirty days, this book will help you make time for a deep and meaningful Bible study of 1 Corinthians 13, where we learn how to live in true, Christ-like love.

Besides your own five to ten-minute daily study, this book also includes daily ideas for including your children in your Bible study.

I loved that each lesson was simple. I don't mean that in a bad way, but from the standpoint that I knew I could complete the lesson without having to spend an hour or more. Each day or lesson is kept short and sweet, usually with a reading of a few verses and completing a few questions or activities. For example, you might read a few verses and have to make a chart or answer a few questions.

Even better? Lessons or suggestions for your children and family are included! So not only do you get the benefit of your daily lesson but you can carry it to your loved ones as well. I thought this was a wonderful way to include my family in what I'm learning, and it also helps with their understanding of the bible as well.

In the back of the book are also a supplies list and suggestions how to find the time for this bible study. Nothing over the top, just things such as colored pencils and paper; or how to find those 5-10 minutes, even if it means you keep your book in the bathroom or in your purse to study on a break at work.
