Busy Bags
Keeping our little ones busy when at home can be a challenge, but with as much as we travel; talk about a nightmare at times. A bored toddler or little one can be so stressful on everyone. Unless you have a plan in place!
We take along a special carry on sized bag with activities for the little ones. Some are things they can do on their own, while others are activities that we can do as a family once settled in our hotel rooms for the night.
A friend and fellow blogger recently released a book about Busy Bags. She has done all the work for you in helping to put together your make ahead activity kits for a happy preschooler and stress free parent. Boy that sounds good to me!
As the parent of young children, it’s hard to find a moment for yourself. Busy Bags Kids Will Love offers you a smart way to keep your kids engaged so you can relax. With step-by-step instructions and color photos on each page, it will teach you how to make fun, unique games with simple arts-and-crafts materials you have at home.
This book is packed full of enough ideas to keep your little one busy for every week of the year. These activities provide your little ones with entertaining, exciting and educational activities. I just love playtime that is also learning time, don’t you?
Some of the activities included in the book are:
• Fishing for colorful letters and numbers
• Building shapes with pipe cleaners and straws
• Practicing words by rolling the dice
• Getting creative with funny felt faces
• Exploring textures with blocks, nuts, bolts and zippers
• Learning to count with pom-pom patterns
I like how the activities are listed with all the supplies and images of how to make them as well as tips for possible options when you have multiple age groups to keep entertained.
Busy Bags is available on Amazon in both Kindle and Paperback versions.
Don’t have a Kindle? Grab one for yourself. They are so nice to use for reading. I love my Kindle Fire and my little one uses the e-Reader version (just for reading without the added games and internet options).
I was provided a copy of the book through Ulysses Press as a media outlet.
