Butterfinger Cupcakes

Butterfinger Cupcakes

Butterfinger Cupcakes

These are the best cupcakes I have had in a long time. Be prepared to stand guard over them or make extras! Personally, I like the yellow cake with the white frosting best as it allows the butterfingers to shine through…oh they are just what a cupcake needs.

Butterfingers Cupcakes

Ingredients:
1 package cake mix (chocolate or yellow) – include items to prepare
1 bag Nestle Butterfinger Bites Candy, finely chopped
1 can prepared frosting (chocolate or vanilla)

Butterfinger Cupcakes

Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees – Paper line Muffin Pan.
2. In large bowl, prepare cake mix according to package directions.
3. Stir in 1 cup of chopped Butterfinger candy
4. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full (easiest to use a large spoon)
5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cupcake comes out clean
6. Allow to cool completely before frosting. Sprinkle remaining candy over top of cupcakes

What is your favorite cupcake? Do you have a special way to dress them up? Leave your recipe below…I would love to try it.

This recipe was so pin-worthy!! It has some of my & others favorite food ingredients!
We have decided to make cupcakes for the grandkids’ birthdays instead of cakes. We had to make two cakes! Making cupcakes were easier to serve, and easier for them to get an extra one. Less clean up, etc.
    THANKS for this mouthwatering recipe!!

These look so good. I prefer cupcakes to have at home rather than a cake so that I can grab one easily as a snack without having to get out several items involved in cutting a piece of cake. And I love butterfingers also. Thanks for sharing.

I love this recipe for Butterfinger Cupcakes! It’s so easy and sound so delicious!!! I don’t usually make cupcakes unless it’s for a school function or a fundraiser or something. I love to make what I call (generally make these for Christmas and special occasions) Cherry Cheese Tarts! Ingredients:1 1/2 lbs cream cheese (3 8oz packages) Room Temperature, 1 Cup Sugar, 4 Eggs, 1tsp. vanilla. You need to mix all of the above together until creamy. Put a Nilla Wafer in the bottom of cupcake paper. Put the mixed filling onto the top of the wafer, filling approximately halfway. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 -25 mins (until the cream cheese mixture starts to brown some – Don’t Overbrown!) When Cooled, put some Cherry Pie Filling in the middle of each. Keep Refrigerated! Sometimes I use Blueberry as well! These go over quite well! Thanks again for the Butterfinger Cupcake Recipe, I really do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele 🙂
