Castle of Chaos {Review}
During our recent visit to the Hollywood Wax Museum, we checked out the Castle of Chaos in Pigeon Forge, TN. It was an awesome combination of a 3D ride, movie, and video game! Let me tell you all about this great attraction!
So it sits in this awesome castle on the museum property, and it also has the Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors inside. We got our ticket and our 3D glasses and waited to be let into the ride. Once inside, the attendant explained for us to take a seat, put on our glasses, store any loose items and pull the bar down over our lap.
Then they turn off the main lights, the screen lights up and the adventure begins! This place is so cool. The seats are on a platform that turns to face different screens as the story progresses. Everyone has a gun which you use to shoot at the monsters on the screen. It keeps track for you through the game, plus it ranks everyone at the end.
My favorite part? Seeing various pictures of our faces taken through the ride! Seriously, the expressions were priceless and you never knew when they were being taken so there was zero chance for posing. While I was surprised by a few loud noises or bursts of air rushing past your head, I haven’t laughed on a ride in so long!
Where can you find the first 5D attraction in the world? At the Castle of Chaos, part of the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center! This brand new haunted attraction in Pigeon Forge, TN, combines the experiences of a 3D film, a ride, and a video game in one scary fun adventure. The mission: explore a mysterious Pigeon Forge castle to discover the potential outbreak of paranormal activity. Buckle into your armchair and pick up your pistol as you prepare to see, hear, feel and smell the chaos while shooting for the highest score. Winners are shown on-screen at the end of every haunted ride. The Castle of Chaos in Pigeon Forge was called one of the best new attractions in the world by the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions.
I would recommend the Castle of Chaos for older children (use your judgement), teenagers and adults in any combination. Be prepared for some thrills, being spun around on the platform and a bunch of laughter. Plus it’s some fun competition with your friends to see who’s the best!
