Chick-fil-A Houston Road Ambassador

I have been waiting to shout this from the rooftops for weeks.  I am now a brand ambassador for the Chick-fil-A Houston Road location in Florence, Kentucky! Awesome isn’t it?

Ok so you ask.. what is this? Are you a Brand Advocate or a Brand Ambassador?

The simple answer is that I am both! Cute answer huh?

A Brand Advocate is someone who likes the brand (in this case restaurant) and frequents it often. That just screams me! My crew eats there several meals a week, the little ones beg to go play in the play land, I like to meet other moms or bloggers for meetings, and sometimes I just stop in to use the wifi and enjoy their sugar free lemonade. Do I tell people about Chick-fil-A? You bet!

A Brand Ambassador is someone who does all of the above and helps to promote special events, happenings, deals, and other announcements to a targeted audience – you! Of course the main difference is that an Ambassador does get compensated for their time.

Let’s say we had a meeting in Northern Kentucky and wanted to go to lunch afterwards. Melissa suggests going to a local chain because she knows they have great food and their lunch specials are all under $10. Sounds great – Melissa is a brand advocate for that local chain.  She loves the restaurant and eats there at least once a week.

However, if I suggest Chick-fil-A because I recently tried their awesome chicken wraps and was in love with their avocado dressing…and mentioned that I have coupons to share with them to try the chicken wraps… Now I am acting as a brand advocate for Chick Fil-A but also a brand ambassador for the chain.

The basic difference between a brand advocate and an ambassador is that a brand ambassador has a formal relationship with the brand. 

I am so excited to start sharing details about their new menu items and healthier meal options as well as upcoming specials.

Did you know that the original chicken sandwich is turning 50 years old?  Wow! In order to celebrate this 50th anniversary, they are finding ways to celebrate their “classic” menu items, which include the original chicken sandwich, lemonade and chicken biscuit.   This past week we have shared information about specials on Monday mornings, Senior days and the store was granting wishes to local patrons who responded with their question on how they would share 50 chicken sandwiches.

If you are like me and always on the go, make sure you sign up for the text alerts!  Simply text CFAHOUSTONROAD to 411247.  When there is an announcement or upcoming special, coupon or special event, you will be up to date via a text message!  (It is free to sign up, but regular text messaging rates may apply.)

January kicks off the New Year with Free Breakfast Monday. Each Monday, from 6:30-10:30am you can receive a FREE Chicken Biscuit or Spicy Chicken Biscuit!  This offer is good at both the drive-thru or dining area. Oh and guess what? Besides getting awesome FREE food – you do NOT need a coupon!

Another way to stay current with events is by visiting the Events Calendar on Chick-fil-A Houston Road’s website.  Check it monthly and print the calendar out so you don’t miss any of the free food days or fun family events!

Have little ones? You will love being able to relax while they play in the play land. Make sure to keep a pair of socks in the car. And while they are having fun, sit back and relax or grab your tablet and check your emails on the FREE wifi! Now you can stay up to date with Facebook, Twitter, or get your Pinterest fix for the day while enjoying a delicious meal or one of my favorites – the lemonade!

Don’t forget about the Mom’s (and Dad’s) Valet Service. Simply go through the drive-thru and order your meal. Let them know you are using the Valet Service. By the time you get parked and wrangle all the little ones inside, your food will be waiting on a table – high chair and all! I know.. I know.. I would be doing the happy dance too!
