Crockpot Chocolate Cake

Crockpot Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake fan? If so, you will definitely want to try this crockpot chocolate cake! It it so moist and flavorful. I like that I can turn it on and go run errands or other activities while it bakes. Of course, having an oval shaped cake does make frosting it a little more of a challenge. We serve it with chocolate syrup and other goodies so everyone can create their own dessert.

Ingredients:

1 box Chocolate Cake Mix (Devil's Food is my favorite)
8 oz tub Sour Cream
1 box Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
1 cup chocolate chips
4 eggs
3/4 cup of oil
1 cup of water

Crockpot Chocolate Cake

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl
Dump mixture into your crock pot
Cook for 3 hours on high (6 hours on low)

This sounds and looks delicious! I pinned it for later. For some reason, this reminds me of my easy bake oven that I had as a child.

I have never made a cake in the crockpot. It does sound like a great alternative, especially in the hot summer months. Thanks for the recipe.
