What are Daddy Scrubs you ask?
DaddyScrubs® is the offspring of Robert Nickell, who fathered his first four children more than 20 years ago. DaddyScrubs® was conceived when Robert, who remarried in 2007, discovered he was about to be a father all over again in the fall of 2009!
Not wanting to endure the pains of wearing uncomfortable street clothes while comforting his laboring wife, Robert hatched the idea of creating doctor-like scrubs for himself. It seemed a natural thing for him to do — since Robert is a pharmacist by profession.
To eliminate the confusion between “who’s the doctor” and “who’s the daddy,” Robert fashioned the concept of “I’m The Daddy®” medical scrubs.

When I was invited to review a pair of scrubs, I couldn’t get my order in fast enough. They are so neat and something that every dad would love to wear. I ordered the Classic Edgy Green for the guys in our family. We have a special gown the moms wear, so why not a special outfit for the men? My order arrived within just a few days.
The scrubs are roomy and run just a little large, which my guys have commented is a good thing. Being comfortable is important during the birth. Having enough room to breathe helps the dad-to-be remain calm and relaxed, which allowed them to be available to help the mom better handle the labor and delivery.
Not expecting? How about a pair of these for a baby shower? I don’t know if anyone ever really thinks about gifting the dad-to-be during a baby shower. These would be a great gift idea for him to let him know that he is special too. I think Daddy Scrubs is just a wonderful idea. Daddies didn’t get much recognition back in the day. I know a lot of daddies that were there including my ex. He even cut the cord and held both my girls before I did but bless his heart he still didn’t get any special gifts and things geared towards him being a daddy. I was the one to get all the goodies. I just think it’s truly an amazing idea =D
My son-in-law got a pair of these to wear while my daughter had her baby, he absolutely loved them & said they were so comfortable! He also got a lot of compliments from people!
