Delicates Laundry Bag Review
Lingerie is costly, plain and simple. The days of plain white cotton next to your skin have disappeared. In its place is lace along with very sheer and delicate fabrics. We love all of those delicates and many times new underwear is the only small form of pampering we can afford ourselves. After all, we do need it so why not make it pretty.
Doing laundry can reap havoc with all of your delicates. If you attempt to wash all of your laundry together I am sure you have had more than one mishap where everything ended tangled up or even torn and out of shape as a result.
I have a little different situation than some might have because I wear custom made bras. I have had to pay as much as $175.00 for a single bra so I can’t afford washer mishaps. You see they can’t just be bought at the local discount or department store if they fall apart. You need to be fitted for them and then they have to be special ordered. They are like gold to me when I find one that fits well. So doing laundry for me is a task that I don’t take lightly. I don’t have the luxury of sheer fabric and lots of lace that could be easily damaged but I treat my lingerie as if it was equally as delicate.
Laundry bags that you place your lingerie into and then toss into the washer are a sure way to keep those items protected. You don’t have to worry about the hooks catching on other items and twisting everything up, causing lots of unnecessary work that you don’t have time to do.
These small bags help keep the shape of your bras, which is really important to me and they keep your lace from getting torn by buttons or hooks as they swish around in the washer.
You can find laundry bags many places but the delicate bra and washing bag that I found through Delicates Bags has a design that allows your bra to better keep its shape. It has a strong zipper opening ensuring your items will remain tucked inside and protected.
They are made from a fabric that will hold up to hundreds of washings extending the life of your delicates. I think they would be great to wash hosiery in also. They are sold in packages of two for only $16.99 and that is so much cheaper than trying to replace damaged items from washer disasters.
