Disney on Ice {Review}
So our crew went to the Disney on Ice : Princesses & Heroes last night at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. And the kids weren’t the only ones singing along, clapping, or laughing at the antics on the ice!
Enter a world of wonder where heroes and hearts prevail. Join Ariel as she yearns to explore the world above the waves and Prince Eric as he breaks Ursula’s slithering spell to reclaim his one true love. See Prince Phillip, in a race against time, to rescue Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora, defeat the evil Maleficent as she transforms herself into a fire-breathing dragon! Be there to discover a whole new world with Jasmine and Aladdin.
Join Anna and Elsa and the hilarious snowman Olaf, from Disney’s blockbuster hit Frozen, and discover how an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart. And, watch in awe as the dreams of Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel and Tiana all come true. High-flying jumps, daring acrobatics, breathtaking skating and lovable Disney friends are just a wish away! Honestly, I can’t tell you what our favorite part was, or even the kids! It hit several of the major Disney hits over the years, including Cinderella, Snow White, Aladdin, Frozen and more. My grandson probably laughed the hardest at the Aladdin opening scene (where he’s running from the guards) and Olaf singing his hit song “In Summer”. Mickey and Minnie also came out several times through the show as well as Tinkerbell and we even got to see Goofy. Plus there were our favorite villains like Ursula and Maleficent!
The music seemed to be straight from the movies, and the ice skating choreography was outstanding! If there were any mistakes, especially being opening night here in Cincinnati, we didn’t see them. The kids were singing and calling out to their favorite characters (several were even dressed like them) and the performers definitely interacted with the audience, especially when they skated close to the edges. It was awesome to see the joy on all those young shining faces.
The best part about the whole night? Watching my family’s faces as they grinned and laughed, and listening to them chatter and cheer with each other. And most of all? I know none of us will forget this magical night that we spent with Disney On Ice. I encourage you to get your tickets and make those memories with your family too! You won’t regret it.
There’s still time to see Disney On Ice for yourself in Cincinnati!
