Do you Dropbox

Do you Dropbox?

Dropbox home

This is one of my most used and favorite tools when working on a project whether for school, church or work. With Dropbox you can sync your files with co-workers without having to email the attachments back and forth…remember that? What a pain!

I use Dropbox as more of a backup of the backup for my pictures and shared files. It is easy to set up, really simple to share files and photos, and keeps a backup in case you are like me and forget to save things before closing the file.

All my homeschool records are on Dropbox including my shopping list of books needed for upcoming classes.

One of my favorite settings is the auto upload. When I take pictures on my cell phone, the program uploads a copy to my folders and they are waiting for editing. I like that I can quickly delete pictures from my camera or cell phone if I am taking a ton…space is limited on my camera!

Dropbox has a mobile version so you can work on your device or share a file easily.

First I am hearing of this–will have to check it out–but I don’t do attachments too often!

This sounds like a very efficient way to share pictures and files. I am always exchanging with my sister in law since she is far away and wants to see all recent pictures etc. I will investigate this further.

That does sound like a more efficient way to exchange the same work so that you don’t have to e-mail back and forth. It looks relatively easy to use as well. I’ll have to keep dropbox in mind if I need to use this kind of online storage system. Thanks for sharing!
