Does Your Candle Crackle?

I am in love with my new Wood Essence WoodWick Candle ! I guess I am behind in the world of candles. I purchased this one at my local Meijer store because it was on clearance and I had a coupon. What I didn’t expect was the sound it made while burning!

Apparently WoodWick Candles feature the sound of a crackling fire in addition to smelling simply wonderful…..

I purchased the Gardenia scent and am sitting here working while my mind wanders back to my childhood days living with my Granma Mae. Her yard was packed with Gardenia bushes and I can still imagine driving into her yard and the smell hitting me in the face. It has to be one of my favorite scents of all time. Just a whiff of Gardenia opens my memory lane and I can’t help but smile. My Granma Mae was the one constant in my childhood. She is still missed so much.

According to the label on my candle, it is made by the Virginia Candle Company but I couldn’t find them online or through Amazon. The above link is to another scent from the same company but it hasn’t been released yet. They have several Holiday scents coming out that will be available through Amazon. My candle is is reported to have a burn time of 76-85 hours. I am going to love the next week at my desk! And as a bonus – It is Made in USA!
