Dr. Fischer’s Skin Care Products {Review}
As the mom of a busy and usually messy 4 year old, it seems I’m always washing hands and his face, bathing him down, or even just giving him a good wipe down to help get that “outside little boy smell” down a few notches. So when I was introduced to Dr. Fischer’s products for baby, kids, and adults, I was excited to give them all a try!
The first product we tried was the Dr. Fischer Sensitive Baby Wipes. I love how thick these wipes are compared to some of the other kinds we’ve tried over the years. Plus they are 100% natural fibers with no alcohol or coloring added. They left his skin soft and smooth with a light, pleasant scent. He expressed a little concern the packaging was pink (and therefore for girls) but his Daddy convinced him it was because they sent them to Mom and she’s a girl. 🙂
On to bath time! For the next several bath times, we used the Dr. Fischer EMOL Baby Bath Oil and Dr. Fischer Kamil Blue Soapless Soap for Baby. The bath oil is in a pump bottle and we squirted two or three pumps into the water as I was getting the bath ready. I was a little worried that the tub would be slick after, but it wasn’t once I rinsed with hot water (which we do anyway to get rid of the bubbles). It left his skin very soft but not greasy at all. And what’s great about this product is the whole family can use it; I get really dry skin in the winter so this is perfect to keep by the tub.
For bathtimes and hand washing, we tried the Soapless Soap product. Again, wonderful for protecting his skin without the harsh chemicals and perfumes. It also did the job of getting him clean. As a bonus, it’s a pretty blue color and we know kids consider color important when they try new things!
I got to try the Dr. Fischer EYE-CARE Purified Cleansing Wipes (Adults) for taking off my makeup at the end of the day and when I was prying my eyes open to get the coffee brewed. I really liked them! They came individually packaged so I could always toss a few in my purse. No need to rinse like I have to with the heavy duty makeup remover. The towelettes were very soft and pleasantly large enough that usually one wipe could take care of both eyes. These have a gentle scent from the chamomile, but nothing overpowering.
Finally, I started using the Dr. Fischer EYE-CARE Baby Purified Cleansing Wipes on my son first thing in the morning. Sometimes he gets that awful morning “crud” in his lashes after a long night of sleep. He doesn’t like using a washcloth on them but these didn’t bother him; he even started using these himself during his morning routine. Just like the adult wipes, there’s no need for rinsing and I can pack a few in his bag for when we head to the park to play (just in case). I don’t have to worry about these burning his eyes and he doesn’t fight me because he knows they don’t hurt or “sting”.
I was also given a neat green Mommy Bag! I don’t use a diaper bag since my boy is 4, but I still carry a bag for him when we are leaving the house for more than an errand or two. I usually slip in a few books or small toys and a change of clothes, so this is great! A lot of pockets and zippers to keep everything exactly where I put it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these products to my friends and family, especially those with children and/or sensitive skin needs. Dr. Fischer also carries many more products that I’d like to check out since these were a big hit. I’m glad for this opportunity to review these products and I look forward to using them in the future.
