You walk into the bedroom to check on your little one and they feel warm. Are they too warm? Do you need to wake them to take their temperature? If you are like me…..you are chanting.. “please don’t wake up, please don’t wake up”…
With the Easy@Home 3 in 1 Non-contact Infrared Thermometer you can take a quick reading on your child’s temp without touching them! This hand held thermometer is an infrared non-contact style that when placed about two inches from the forehead reveals the patient’s body temperature.
The best feature is the LCD screen has three colors that are displayed to alert or comfort the viewer based on the reading. If the screen is green sneak out of the room quietly because the temperature is within the normal range. Get a yellow display screen means a low grade fever is present, up to 100.2°F which could indicate a fever or that they are just under too many covers. If a red display screen is present, your child has a fever of over 100.4°F and perhaps you need to take a closer look at what’s going on.
Being able to get a quick reading is comforting to me. I can always wake my child if I need to administer meds but if they are sleeping well and not too hot… I may just set an alarm to check again in an hour or so if I am concerned.
Of course if you know my crew, we have found all kinds of other uses for this machine. My crew has used it to take the room temps around the house as well as my coffee and their milk!
The device comes with a plastic case that keeps it safe, clean and out of sight of little ones if needed.
The only issue I had with my unit was that the batteries that were provided did not work. I simply popped fresh batteries in the unit and it fired right up.
