Eclipse Sun Sleeves {Review}
For those of us who spend time outdoors, whether golfing, gardening, fishing or just attending our kid’s sporting events, keeping our arms either covered or protected can be a hassle. Either we have to wear long sleeves, even when it’s hot outside, or slather on sunscreen that can be greasy and smear on our clothes! A new solution? The Eclipse Sun Sleeves!
UPF 50+ Eclipse Sun Sleeves feature high performance 37.5 fabric technology. This higher performance fabric offers unrivaled sun protection, moisture control and cooling. The sleeves are designed to cover the back of the hands, which are particularly vulnerable to sun exposure. They stay up your arm by virtue of the spandex component (87% Cocona/13% spandex) so even a vigorous golf swing won’t cause them to sag. Zero-distraction fit under golf and cycling gloves, or roll the hand covering up to the wrist. The stretchy fabric allows a lot of latitude in sizing, so if your style is active, consider a smaller size for a more snug fit.
They come in several sizes and colors, so whether you want something dark or light, or bright and in a pattern, you can get the right size to help keep your arms protected from sun damage while not interfering with your activity!
I picked out the solid white style since I figured it would go with almost everything. I also liked having the option of having the sleeve extend down over my hand and into gloves, or being able to roll it back to my wrist to leave my hands free.
It was also great not to have to remember to put on sunscreen on my arms if I go outside for a while because these offer UPF 50+ protection! I didn’t find that they got in my way at all and I wasn’t any more hot than without them. Plus the material wicked away any sweat which helped keep me cool and dry.
I think if I order another pair, I’ll try their leopard or polka print, those look like fun! And these aren’t just for women, but men too. No one says they have to order the pink printed ones! LOL
