Ok, before I even start to tell you what I use this product for, the original creation of the edgy was to help cut the foil off the top of wine bottles. However, at our house we have found it also works great on bottles containing sparkling juice, oils, spices and more importantly it makes opening bottles easier for me with the limited grasp that I have with my fingers.

You can use the edgy With any bottle that has foil or plastic on the top. I like using it on little vitamin bottles and essential oils.

The Edgy works similarly to a can opener. It has four cutting wheels to slice around the very tip of the bottle, perfectly removing the top portion of the foil exposing the cork or screw top. You simply set the cutter on top of the bottle, squeeze, and twist the bottle around 360 degrees. 

I have found this tool convenient and helpful to remove foil and plastic sealed bottles. It is easy to use and would make a helpful housewarming gift.
