Elite Little Dog Bark Control {Review}

We have a toy poodle named Lilypad. She should have been named yapper and she barks more than any little dog I have ever been around. I would have to admit that she learned this from a guest dog that we watched for several weeks while the owner was on a mission trip. However, we have not been able to break her from barking at any noise she hears from outside.

Recently, we were asked to review the Elite Little Dog Bark Control collar from Proven Pet Solutions. This little collar uses “nanotechnology” which means it is a small, lightweight collar. According to the manual, your dog’s bark is the only sound that will activate the unit. The unit has ten levels of static correction which are keyed by the insensitivity of your dog’s bark. The correction begins at the lowest level and increases if barking continues.

About the product:

The small unit uses vibration and sound to ensure only your dog’s barking is detected. As he barks, he receives a safe but annoying “static” correction. The bark collar begins with low corrections, but if excessive barking continues the correction intensity will increase. When used correctly the bark collar reduces (and in most cases eliminates) the number of nuisance barks. Your dog will quickly learn the association and stop the unwanted behavior.
