The older I get, the more important my bedding seems to influence if I am going to sleep well or toss and turn all night. We recently replaced our bed after 20+ years. We decided to invest in an adjustable bed and we love it! Well, we love everything about the bed except..finding fitted sheets that will stay on it during the night. Bamboo Sheet Sets

These are the softest sheets you will ever want to sleep on. Made with a sateen weave, these sheets feel like they are 1000 thread count in Egyptian long staple cotton. When I received the sheet set, they were packaged in a storage bag to protect when not in use. I know, I am probably the only one in my family that actually folds the fitted sheet so it will fit back in the package. Normally I fold the fitted and tuck it inside the flat sheet with all but one of the matching pillowcases. This stack of sheets is placed inside the remaining pillowcase. This way everything that is needed to change the linens is in one place. The idea was to make it easier (and thereby limited the excuses) for the children to change their linens once a week. I know you are asking… no it didn’t work but that is a story for another post.

Fits Deep Mattress

The sheets were laundered and as soon as they were dry I grabbed them to try on our bed. I have to admit that when I started tucking one of the corners of the fitted sheet on our mattress (did I tell you that adjustable beds have a MASSIVE mattress), I didn’t think the thin band would hold the sheet in place when I went around to the opposite corner and started pulling and tucking. But it did! And all of the corners stayed in place as I worked my way around the bed! So far so good.

Comes with a long flat sheet

Then the flat sheet was placed on the bed and I was pleasantly surprised at the length. It almost touched the floor at the foot of the bed. I don’t like to tuck the foot of my bed, especially when the flat sheet isn’t very long. It makes me feel like my legs are trapped. This set however, are long enough to tuck and still freely move my legs.

Pillowcases have Envelope Pattern

I do wish that the king set of sheets had included king pillow cases along with the set of standard cases. However, I understand that not everyone likes a bunch of pillows on their bed like I do. The cases that were included in the set were sewn in the envelope pattern. This was a nice surprise too. Once the pillow is tucked under the flap (like putting papers in an envelope), it won’t slide out during the night. So bonus points for the envelope pattern cases. Oh, I checked on their store and you can purchase additional pillow cases however they just state “pillowcase set”, there is no option for standard, sham, or king sizes.

Overall, I really do like these sheets. They stayed in place overnight and even when my little Allie wanted to climb in with me and have me “squash her” by putting up the head and feet of the bed.
