Faburo Adjustable Back Brace for Posture {Review}
Does your back hurt after sitting at your desk or lounging around all day? I know mine does. I can still hear my mother’s words…sit up now or you will not be able to when you are old and grey…
Well, I should have listened. I am old and grey and suffer from weak back muscles from many factors including just not sitting properly. So now it’s my turn to tell my teens to sit up straight, hold their shoulders back, etc.
Although I was teasing them about purchasing a posture brace, when the offer came in for us to give the Faburo Adjustable Back Brace for Posture a try..I couldn’t say no!
This brace does force you to assume the correct posture. It is designed to pull your shoulders back, straightening your posture. As you can see from the images, it’s pretty hefty. My crew found it to be uncomfortable and restrictive. Not sure if that was because wearing the brace is warm or if it was because it was forcing them to assume proper posture.
I will say that wearing an undershirt should be planned otherwise the straps rub and irritate your shoulders. I don’t think this would be comfortable wearing in the hot summer months, but even if worn for an hour a day at home you would train your muscles to respond.
The back brace is easy to adjust. It is not easy to get off by yourself. I should post the videos of the girls trying to get their brace off by themselves.
Overall, this brace does what it claims. I think if worn regularly, it would help you train your muscles to assume proper posture.
This brace and others are available on Amazon. The Faburo braces are available in black and white. They are washable, but it suggested that you place the brace flat to dry and to maintain integrity.
