Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic:
Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

Last week I was invited to the opening night at the Cincinnati Ballet to see the Nutcracker. Wow! What an impressive performance. Before the ballet, Frisch’s® treated us to dinner at their flagship store in Covington. I was not aware that Frisch’s® has always been the primary sponsor of the Cincinnati Ballet's Nutcracker. Since 1974, they have supported the ballet which makes their partnership one of the longest corporate sponsorship in American arts history. Way to go Frisch’s®!

Our evening began meeting with the chef and management of Frisch’s®. We were treated to an amazing meal served family style. I wish more restaurants served this way, because it really brings home the point of stopping and sharing a meal together.

We had more food than you can imagine. We sampled their carved turkey, country fried steak, country fried chicken, roast beef, and meatloaf just for the entrees.

Sides were delicious bowls of mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans.

These were creamy and packed with butter. Oh man, just set that bowl in front of me please.

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

Oh there is not many things better than seasoned green beans.

And what makes a meal better? Dining with friends and family of course! Kristin, from It's Free At Last and I enjoy getting together for work and family events.

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

The dinner finale was Frisch’s® Unveiling of their Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic: Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake. Oh yeah..this stuff is awesome. Not overly sweet, but with just the right amount of cake and ice cream. The crushed peppermints add a nice addition to the dessert.

After dinner we were off to the Cincinnati Ballet's Nutcracker. It was opening night and the excitement could be felt in the air. We were able to meet several of the dancers.

Make sure you enter the Frisch’s® Big Boy selfie contest. You might win!

Frisch’s® has 95 corporate locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and franchises another 25 restaurants to independent operators. You can find one near you here. You can also connect on Facebook for the latest promotional offers and announcements.

Have you been to the ballet lately?  I used to take my children to the Nutcracker when they were younger and they took their younger siblings once they were old enough to enjoy the time with their sisters.

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

The performance of the Cincinnati Ballet's Nutcracker is at the Arnoff Center for the Arts. What a beautiful location. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.

My youngest (my baby who is now 18 and in college) attended the event with me. We had such a wonderful evening of dinner and entertainment.

At the end of the performance, we were surprised with an autographed picture by the dancers.

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

The Arnoff Center for the Arts was decorated in all things Christmas. Even the Frisch’s® Big Boy and the Nutcracker were excited to be enjoying the Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake that night!

Frisch’s® Unveils Holiday Twist on Timeless Classic

If you live near a Frisch’s® Big Boy you have to go try their limited time offering of the Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake. It won't be around long, and you do not want to miss this treat. Tell them Simply Sherryl sent you and maybe they will give you an extra large piece!
