Do you have a dog family member? I grew up with large dogs in the house who thought they were just another of the children. Our Irish Setter slept with either me or my brother for years. Her name was Sugar and the husband my parents brought home for her was named Shannon. They were beautiful dogs. Both of them acted like they were the real children of the family! I smile when ever I think of either of them and the years of joy they brought to our home.

Over the years we have had several dogs from tiny Yorkies to monster sized Pitts and Labs. Each has held a special place in our home and hearts.
