Our family are really big drinkers..Gasp!

One of our son in laws is lovingly called a camel by his spouse because he carries a large container around with him all the time. I always have either tea or coffee with me and the girls almost always have a bottle with a power drink or tea that they are working on. We use so many beverage containers that the one main thing we consider is if they will fit in the cup holders in the vehicles!

When we were introduced to the Glasstic bottles I was somewhat concerned because it is made from glass. Not a problem. This bottle is made with a double layer which protects it from breaking. The locking lid attaches securely and the bottle doesn’t leak at all!

Another bonus with using this glass bottle is that it doesn’t stain when I use colored beverages. I can clean it easily as it comes apart and can go in the dishwasher. Honestly, it doesn’t usually make it to the dishwasher because I fill it up several times during the day and then make myself an iced water to take to bed at night. I like being able to grab it and take a drink without getting up or worrying about spilling it should I knock it off the nightstand.

The directions do say that this isn’t for hot beverages. I have used it for hot tea and coffee but I don’t close the lid. I think the steam from hot beverages could compromise the seals and that pressure could cause the seals to leak. I haven’t had a problem on the few times that I have used it for hot beverages.

For cooler beverages this badboy rocks! It doesn’t sweat which is great since I am at my desk most of the time and don’t like the dripping from most bottles. I am trying to increase my water intake and have been adding a few drops of my essential oils to each bottle of water.
