It doesn't take parents long to learn that having a bedtime routine with your children is important. Sticking to that plan, whatever it may be is more important if you want to have a quiet evening. Books have always been our transition time tool and this little story is one that we wanted to share with you.
In our family, we love to have story time before bedtime. My kids love books– they always have and it makes me thrilled because I have always been an avid reader. We were recently introduced to a children's book called Goodnight Lad, that quickly comes to life with a free app you can download on your smart phone or tablet. My kids have been enjoying this fun book each night with the app, and love to see the pages come to life on my iPhone.

What is Goodnight Lad about?
Goodnight Lad is the story of a little boy who refuses to go to bed. He is always playing and having fun, but as the days wear on he gets cranky and his parents decide that something must be done. They come up with a plan to take him around the world in hopes to tire him out. They visit fun new places like the snore-filled mountains and sunny beaches. At first all is going well, Logan is having a great time and feels like he is King of the town, but before long he turns into a beast…
