Are you a Crime Drama addict? Recently while making a list of all the shows we watch; a pattern started to emerge. 80% of the shows we watch each week are Crime Drama! This started when three of our girls were in college and studying criminal justice. Each week they had to report what shows they watched and what blunders or evidence processing errors they saw. We now laugh that we know how to commit the perfect crime!
One of these shows is HBO’s True Detective. This show hit our radar towards the end of the season so I am thrilled that Best Buy will have the entire Season 1 available in June. And if you are not familiar with the show, this would be a win-win for you as an awesome Father’s Day gift and the Season 1 for the entire family to catch up on over the summer. A little prep work for the new season later this year!
Not familiar with the show? Here’s a brief synopsis:
The lives of two detectives, Rust Cohle and Martin Hart, become entangled during a 17-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana.
Sound great? Top that with the line up of Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson and Michelle Monaghan you know that this is one fantastic show.
