I and Love and You {Review}
Remember my previous post when I told you about our new dog food, I and Love and You? Well, we’ve been using it for several months now and I thought I would post an update! Plus, I get to show off Lilly (the old & blind teacup poodle)!
“I and love and you” uses only the best in natural ingredients. The free range, cage free and wild caught protein in our single ingredient nothin’ but bites and all come from right here in the USA. Free ranger bully stix come from happy grass fed cattle in Brazil, “Hey São Paulo!”, and the ridiculously tasty free range venison jerky is from New Zealand. All our biscuits are oven-baked in small batches and are made right here in the USA with GMO free ingredients.
We’re committed to helping you with the best food + love part (you’re on your own with the costumes). Every one of our products meets rigorous ingredient standards and has been formulated by our holistic veterinarian. And not only do we promise to be good to your pets, but as a green company, we also promise to be good to our planet.
One of my concerns was switching the brands of food that our dog was eating. I’ve heard (and witnessed) some ugly stories of dogs getting sick, just because they are used to one brand of food and you give them another. Luckily, I and Love and You provide a great chart that shows you just how to transition from your old food to the new! This was great to reference every day to make sure we were going to be successful.
Over a period of 10 days, I slowly started mixing the I and Love and You food with the existing food, and slowly phased out the old brand. It worked like a charm and she never slowed down as a result! Lilly had fewer difficulties in doing her “duty” in the yard on the new food which was great to see (in a manner of speaking). Now, because she’s an older dog, I did add hot water to the dry food just like we did for the previous brand, but she still gobbled it up and begged for more.
And when I broke out the canned food, game on! She would dance like a ballerina in the kitchen and make all sorts of noise because she was that excited!
Not only did she literally do the happy dance to be fed, but when I introduced her to the treats, she kept falling out of her seat trying to gobble it up! She tried the Free Ranger bully stix and the cow-boom beef strips. Honestly, I’m not sure which she enjoyed more, but I can tell you I had to fight to keep our pet pig and a visiting dog friend away from her when she was enjoying them. Can’t blame them from wanting to get in on the goodness!
A few of the retailers that are carrying their products are Kroger, Whole Foods, Unleashed, and Pet Supplies Plus. More are being added all the time as people request this food from their local shops!
Guess what? I get to offer my readers their own giveaway! You can go to my I and Love and You giveaway page for a chance to win!

I am seeing this product all over facebook!!! Love it but can not get it in Vermont!!! I wish I could. So much positive feedback on this Company. I worry all the time about first if dog food and treats are safe, then about my Molly gaining weight as she I have to make sure she is in good shape to be with me for a long time:)
