If Money Were No Object, What Would You Do?
#BoostYourBlog
If money were not a concern, I would expand our non-profit to include housing for seniors and battered women. Having walked the path of the latter myself and with one of my daughters, I have come to understand just how lacking the available help is for women that find themselves in this position.
The other group that is being pushed aside are the seniors. Housing and medical care are being taken away from them on a daily basis and they have no one to stand up and fight for them.
To me, these groups would be great together. The seniors have so much patience and knowledge to share while the hurting women and children need love and attention. I would like to see where this path could lead. Perhaps it would result in longer, more active lives for the seniors as they would have something to stay active for and care about; while the women and children might learn to love and trust again so that they will be able to move past the trauma lived through and become happy, confident members of society. We need to stop the cycle of abuse from generation to generation.
In the meantime, I do what I can – when I can – and as often as I can. I do believe a change can be made one person at a time….it just takes longer.
What would you want if Money were No Object? I’m writing this post as part of the Boost Your Blog Challenge. If you are a blogger, feel free to join in the find.

What I have always wanted to do is help others who are really trying and struggling to make it. I don’t know if you saw the show Secret Millionaire before, but they visit the poor neighborhood and volunteer and observe the needs of that neighborhood. And then they decide where and how much money they are going to donate to help out as many people and causes as possible. I think it would be so much fun to go in the grocery store and see a single parent counting their money trying to provide food for their family and walk up and hand them a gift card to that grocery or cash…and so on. That is what would make me happy.

If money were no object, I’d redecorate my bedroom and redo my kitchen with a huge island in the middle that also worked as my kitchen table. There would be so much that I would do. My family would go on vacations and I would venture outside of the US for a trip or two. Thanks for the chance to dream a little tonight.

If money was no object- I don’t even know what I would do. I would defiantly give back to our church both old and new (we had to move to a town 2 hours away from where we were and both places have been an amazing help). I would also help kids in need. I work at the school part time with reading lessons and I just love the lightbulb moments when kids “get it”. That is so rewarding!

You know aside from the reality of paying off all the bills and what not, my passion lies with animals. I would love to run an operation to rescue and find home for those lost, neglected souls who cannot speak up for themselves and have programs in place to get kids involved in volunteering.

If money were no object I would definitely spend my time volunteering first to help people and children learn and learn to love to reading. Second I would buy a large house with a lot of land so that I could foster animals in a no-kill environment.

Currently a few of my blogger friends have been over to Africa to see the #goodwork that has been happening as a result of Comic Relief funding – and it really is inspiring – so I would definitely donate a huge sum there.

I am a teacher in a school district with students in extreme poverty. Knowing the needs my students have, I would strive to have every school provide meals for dinner, weekends and school vacations. I would be nice to know that every child would go to bed full each day.

It is really scary how many children go hungry over the weekends and in the summer. Breaks my heart to know that this is something that could be corrected and isn’t. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

This is such a fun question to ponder, isn’t it?!? I too would probably give myself completely to doing volunteer/charity work. I would also love to travel with my family. I’m ok with changing the world a little bit at a time, though.

Yes… what would people do if money was no object? I wonder if the good or bad would come out in most…
