Kids in Need and Target
I was in Target the other day looking at their $1 special item area for things to use in our annual backpack campaign. While there, I found out about another collaboration to help kids in need with school supplies. The Kids In Need Foundation and Target are partnering to make sure the school age children get the school supplies they need.
The Kids In Need Foundation. Is a not-for-profit that provided 5.4 million kids last year with free school supplies.
The Kids In Need Foundation operates four key programs to help facilitate our efforts so that all students have access to quality school supplies to learn and succeed. In 2016, 5.4 million kids and more than 150,000 teachers across the country were supported through these initiatives.
This year, Kids in Need has an agreement with Target. Target has promised a backpack filled with supplies for a child in need for every “like” or “share” of their video link. That's all you have to do to support this campaign!
