KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates
How many times do you launch a completely new business because you don’t think a chocolate turtle tastes good enough? Kohler took their sweet treat problem at The American Club, part of Destination KOHLER, and began marketing handmade chocolates to consumers. This luxury resort crafted a new turtle, the Terrapin, that quickly expanded into approximately 11 different types of chocolates.
KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates are unique because they are handmade with only the finest of ingredients. Head Chocolatier Anette Righi DeFendi has a long list of decadent treats to craft; but this year, there’s three new lines being featured at the Fancy Food Show:
- Dark Chocolate Candy Bars
- Divine Chunks
- Sugar Free Landscape Tiles
Landscape tiles? KOHLER is well known for manufacturing kitchen and bath plumbing products. Instead of losing that part of their origination, KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates embraces it with their product names.
Dark Chocolate Candy Bars will feature different percentages of cocoa for the chocolate connoisseur. Those who enjoy added ingredients in their chocolate bars will love the crunchy peanut butter found in Divine Chunks and the blueberries and roasted almonds in the Sugar Free Landscape Tiles. They’ll be joining the signature Terrapins, Garden Ganache, and Rare Facets. KOHLER has a mouthwatering lineup of chocolate.
You can buy all three of the new product lines online beginning August 2015. But, if you’re lucky enough to visit Destination KOHLER, be sure to visit the Craverie Chocolatier Cafe to pick up all of these delicious chocolates. Destination KOHLER is a luxury resort with a Forbes Five-Star spa, World-Class Championship golf courses, Four-Star Immigrant Restaurant, and 500-acres of wildlife preserve. It’s truly a vacation destination that everyone will love.
Meet Chocolatier Anette Righi DeFendi while she heads the KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates booth at the Fancy Food Show 2015. You don’t have to be in attendance to see her demos and to learn more about the chocolate making process. Viewers can download the Periscope app on their mobile device to livestream the event.
