Liztek External Hard Drive Docking Station {Review}
Oh man this device saved me from going off the deep end last weekend. It was Friday afternoon and I landed on a website that was infected and my system was locked up completely. I had fallen prey to one of the viruses going around that wanted money to “release” my system.
No way! I called my IT guy and he said to pull the hard drive and connect it to this device and run the scans on it some my laptop. Awesome! I was able to remove the malware and clean up the hard drive without risking rebooting while infected.
Since then, I have been clearing old hard drives that we have around the house from years of different machines. I like that this device will accept several sizes of hard drives.
The Liztek HDDS1BS USB 3.0 Super Speed to SATA Single Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station is plug in ready for direct insertion of 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA Hard Drives. Ideal solution to view videos, photos, music and files. Plug & Play, Hot Swap with no tools and no additional driver needed.
Because it is plug in ready, I was able to easily plug it in and start using it without tools or additional software. It’s great for using as a back up or for moving files.
We have several hard drives from various sources (strange how they just seem to multiply).. I have been backing up files and photos for storing and to free up space on our main machine.
This unit is great to have around for those times when you need backup or pull data off another hard drive. It adds a great deal of storage space and will work with most hard drive units.
The Liztek External Hard Drive Docking Station can be purchased on Amazon with free shipping. This would make a great gift for that techie person on your list.
