Love With Food {Review}
Now that it’s a new year, I’m keeping an eye out for healthy snacks for the family. That’s one of the reasons I love the Love With Food monthly subscription box program, where they send me a box every month filled with various healthy snacks from around the world!

Say goodbye to boring grocery selections and start discovering your Love With Food experience!
Every month, I get a little red box filled with snacks that are either all natural and/or organic. Most are Non-GMO and gluten free, some are also vegan and all natural, it just depends on what comes in the package. Let me fill you in on how this box is opened and enjoyed in my house.
1. We put it on the kitchen table when it arrives for the taste testing party that happens quickly.
2. We open the box and lay everything out; we must photograph it of course!
3. 1 designated person opens each item, announces what it is and starts the taste test.
4. Everyone much try each item, give their opinions and generally the food is all gone by the end of the impromptu party.
This is really a family affair, with everyone from Mom & Dad to the teenagers, and even the grown children and grandkids if they are around. Not everyone likes everything of course, but overall, there isn’t too much that we truly don’t like as a group.
Here’s what we got this month:
- Dark Chocolate Cacao Nibs by Britt: These are cacao nibs covered in dark chocolate. They are sweet but not overpowering like milk chocolate. A great alternative to candy.
- Chocolate Dipped Coconut Mini by Luna: This is a “mini” sweet treat and it is awesome if you love chocolate and coconut. I’d say more coconut flavor than anything else and it’s gluten-free.
- Energy Kettle Cooked Apples by Big Slice: Not easy to eat on the go, per say, but still travels well. Make sure you have a fork on hand because you can’t dig in with your fingers! This flavor also has caffeine and 150% of your vitamin C requirements, plus a great way to get in a serving of fruit. Non-GMO & Gluten-free
- Somersaults by Somersault Snack Company: These are sunflower seed snacks, mixed with seasonings and toasted grains. This flavor was salt & pepper and a hit for those of us who enjoy sunflower seeds. At 70 calories and 3g of protein, it’s a nice choice for a snack! Non-GMO.
- Breakfast in Paris Tea Black Tea by Stash: We are already fans of Stash tea products but we hadn’t tried this flavor yet. It has subtle hints of lavender, vanilla and bergamot which you find in earl gray tea. Gluten-Free and Vegan.
- Cassava Pops by Wai Lana: Love chips? Try these yuca slices, made light and crunch like chips but without all the fat! Even the kids munched on them like they were going out of style. Gluten-free, Non-GMO, Vegan
- Velvet Truffles by Alter Eco : Organic truffles? Yes please! melt in your mouth chocolate flavor that really was not large enough to share LOL Non-GMO, Gluten-free, & Organic
- In-Shell Almonds by Bobalu: Our floor looked like a western steakhouse with the shells on the floor, but they were easy to sweep up. These are just almonds (still in the shell) and salt. That’s it! Great protein snack and a nice workout for the fingers. Vegan and Gluten-free.
Not only did we get all of these snacks, we also got a lot of coupon codes for products like Stash teas, Big Slice apples, Hello Fresh, Cafe Britt, and Urban Remedy!
There are several subscription plans to choose from, starting at $10/month which include the Tasting Box, the Deluxe Box, and the Gluten-Free Box. You pick which best suits your family’s needs and every month, you can discover new healthy snack options!
