Miracles From Heaven
One of my favorite perks of being a faith based blogger is getting to see some super films before they hit the theaters. Miracles from Heaven was one of the films I was blessed to see a couple of nights ago and I can’t wait for it to come out everywhere.
This film was both heart breaking and encouraging at the same time. It was heart breaking for the mom in me that could relate to the mom in the film. Once upon a time I had a very sick little girl. She suffered horribly from seizures as a baby. We were taken from hospital to hospital as they tried to find out what was wrong with her. She had apnea and would stop breathing when she would go to sleep and had bradycardia where her heart would slow to a dangerously slow rate. My sweet little one was once flown from Jacksonville, Fla to Atlanta, GA to the National SIDS Institute for help. There is nothing more heart breaking than to see your child (she was only 4 months old) being taken on a medical flight and knowing there is nothing you can do.
Thankfully, this little bit of a girl grew up to graduate from high school at fifteen and from college two weeks after she turned twenty. I believe that she has a mission in life.
Miracles from Heaven will kick start a deeply rooted need to make sure that everyone in your life knows that you love them, that time is limited and that Faith is something we need to be intentional about everyday.

Without getting into it, when my son was around two he was sick and briefly passed. The hospital brought him back and he told us about what he saw. We had never spoken of religion before so it I believe what he saw.
