If you spend a lot of time outdoors or off the main roads, this solar charger by Nekteck should be on your must have items in your backpack. I have dozens of external portable chargers but have to say that I am impressed with this one!

The unit has blue indicators light that allow you to quickly see the level of charge. There are four blue lights that indicated 25% each. Easy to see how much charge is available when you need it. While charging, the power light is green. This is nice so you know that the battery is being charged. I like that the unit can also be charged via the USB port.

The unit is about the same overall size as my Samsung Galaxy S6 and is about the thickness of my thumb. It has a rubberized casing that feels super strong.

Using this charger is awesome. I can always have backup power whether I am inside or outside. I have been sitting this charger in the window of my office during the day and it will charge to about 75% or three bars while I am working.

Overall I am impressed with the quality and charging capability of this product. It charges my phone, my tablet or our little ones games quickly.
