My first visit to New York City was exciting. Arriving a day before the rest of the travel team, I wanted to stay close to the airport since we would be meeting up the next day. The Hampton Inn had decent reviews and was located right next to the airport. They also offered free transportation which I quickly learned was not the standard in the city.

Conveniently located just walking distance (according to the listing but I wouldn’t recommend it) from the LaGuardia Airport in New York, the Hampton Inn is a wonderful place to call home when traveling through New York. As you can see, the hotel is just off property of the airport..but the saying “You can’t get there from here” could not be more true!

If you’re just stepping off of the plane and searching for a place to recharge your batteries or simply want to enjoy the peace and quiet of your own haven, the Hampton Inn offers rooms and amenities suited to just about everyone. Situated in the heart of Queens, the Hampton Inn is located just minutes from some of New York’s most iconic attractions, including museums and parks, and allows you to enjoy nearby shopping experiences as well as the opportunity to venture to Central Park.

• 2 Queen Beds Smoking. Like it’s previous counterparts, this room also comes with 37″ HDTV, free Wifi, work desk, easy chair & ottoman and spacious shower with curved rod for more room to maneuver.

Our room was large and well furnished. The staff were at first impression extremely rude..however I have come to understand that this is standard in New York City for most everyone. Having grown up in the South and now living in Kentucky..Talk about culture shock!

The highlights of this stay at the Hampton Inn in New York City was the bed and the breakfast buffet. Both were awesome.

Affordable rates, comfortable rooms and many wonderful amenities make the Hampton Inn one of the best places to room in the Queens Area. So, if you’re out and about traveling through New York City, I would recommend popping in and taking a peek to see if the Hampton Inn is the place for you!
