Nut Milk Bag {Review}
Umm, What’s a nut milk bag was my first thought when asked if I wanted one to use in my kitchen…
Thankfully now I know and have to say that I really like mine. Think of things you would use cheese cloth for and that is what the nut milk bag will do for you.
I make a large batch of iced coffee at least once a week. It’s a mess with cheese cloth. Not so much with the nut milk bag since it keeps all grounds contained.
Today I ventured into the “green” side of life and attempted to make my own Almond Milk. The process was easy enough and I will be tweaking the method now that I know how easy it is to make it. I love Almond milk in my coffee but don’t like paying the price at the store.
Anyway, this bag is too cool. The mesh is so fine that it allows the liquid to pass through while keeping the solids inside. Just pull the draw string to close and start twisting from the top until you squeeze all the liquid out of the bag.
Clean up is breeze. Dump the pulp or solids in the trash and turn the bag inside out under running water. I made a bowl of soapy water and swished the bag in it before rinsing again and hanging up to dry.
According to the product information, this bag is great for making smooth fresh nut and seed milk as well as yogurt, cold brew coffee, teas and even sprouts. Sounds like this bag can be used for many purposes.
Best of all, it comes with an unconditional lifetime warranty.

I would love to have this nut bag. I would primarily use it to make almond milk, but love that it can be used for other things. Thanks for the almond milk recipe!
