Nutty Creamsicle Smoothie
Oranges just scream mornings to me. Toss in a little protein powder in my orange juice and I am one happy camper. The walnuts add a really nice deep flavor but can be left out if you are not a walnut fan. My crew has been known to swap the water for vanilla ice cream when mom wasn’t watching! LOL.. We love making these when they need a quick snack.
Ingredients:
1 regular Orange
¼ of the orange peeling (or zest of entire orange)
1 Tablespoon Walnuts Pieces
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 cup Cold Water
1 cup Orange Juice
3-5 Ice Cubes
Directions:
Place all the items in your blender or smoothie machine and let it rip! It really doesn’t get any easier. Enjoy!
