One More Heartbeat
Chosen to receive God’s Miracles
By Carolyn Carter
When things happen in our lives that are just to heart breaking for words…
Where do we turn? Do we turn to Christ? Do we pour out our pain and suffering to him? Do we rely on Him and His love to get us through?
This ebook is the story of faith during trials by the author. Her main point that is stressed throughout her book is the “You may think He is not listening, but be assured that He is and knows your heart and your future. He will answer in a way that is best for you.”
One More Heartbeat is about the life and faith of one family. Through the trials and struggles God has always been there. Their faith and being willing to depend on God has gotten them through several major life changing events.
I laughed and cried while reading this book. The touching story of their faith is uplifting and encouraging. It is so true that God doesn’t promise things will be easy..but that He will be there with us.
Carolyn Carter knows the desperate moments of life. . .from the nerve-wracking worry over whether her marriage would survive. . .to those sleepless nights wondering whether her rebellious son would ever return after running away from home. . .to that frightening time when a paralyzing accident left her with no vital signs of life for more than 20 minutes.
Carolyn Carter knows the feelings of desperation and in “One More Heartbeat” she shares the secret of her survival — a secret so simple that you can use it yourself to help transform your life. It’s as simple as letting God walk with you each step you take as if you were walking with your closest friend, and not just pleading with Him and praying to Him only in times of panic or grief.
In “One More Heartbeat” Carolyn Carter captures the glory of God in the miracles that have transformed her by learning to rely on Almighty God in all aspects of her life.
This book is available on Amazon in Kindle format. I am still smiling after reading this book. It is an easy read, one that you can finish in a couple of hours.

One Heartbeat sounds like a book I really need to read right now. I’ve been having such a difficult time since losing my mom in May, and I have turned to God, but it’s still been so difficult.

We talked about One More Heartbeat today actually.
When we hear about stories like her’s, dealing with the worry of her marriage, trouble with her children, the accident, how easy would it be to throw our hands up or get angry at our Father?
But she didn’t. And she’s using her life’s story to help us keep our faith, no matter how bad it can be. Powerful.
Thank you for sharing your review and thoughts.

I love books like this that just reestablish my faith in His Miracles. There have been times I would start to worry and wonder if He was listening, but I know His timing is better then mine!
