Ozeri Digital Pedometer {Review}
I’ve been in the market for a new pedometer, so it was sheer luck when I was asked to review the Ozeri Digital Pedometer! It is billed as “The most versatile pedometer ever” so I was pretty excited that I got to give it a shot for myself!
My big complaint with most pedometers is they aren’t accurate. If I bounce my leg under the table (nervous habit), they pick it up as steps! Also, most pedometers can really get in the way, especially if you’re out for a good brisk walk or hitting the gym and don’t use pockets! But, no need to worry, as the Ozeri Digital Pedometer took care of that for me.
It’s built with a “tri-axis motion sensor” which means it can truly read whether you’re bouncing your leg, swaying back and forth, and the like. And it’s also super thin! After I read the instruction booklet and clipped it on my waist band, honestly…I forgot I was wearing it until I was getting ready for bed.
It allows you to program several data points, such as your weight, number of steps in your daily goal, the length of your stride (both walking and jogging), as well as keeping the date and time too. It will track your steps, speed, distance, calories and fat burned once you have the pedometer programmed to your body.
It took me about 10 minutes to get it fully programmed, and this included walking 10 steps, measuring the distance and dividing my 10 to get my stride length so I could enter the data. I don’t jog so I didn’t bother with that part, but it’s there if you want to use it. The instructions looked (at first) to be overwhelming, but really, it’s a lot of illustrations of how the pedometer’s screen is going to look at each step. Don’t panic when you unfold them!
The Ozeri Digital Pedometer will track up to a million steps, and has a 30-day memory feature. Plus you can wear it on your waist band, clipped to your pocket (or even inside it), and it also comes with a lanyard if you want to wear it around your neck. Remember to keep it as close to your body as possible for the greatest accuracy.
Overall, I love the pedometer with all its features. It’s slim to keep in my pocket if I want to tuck it away, and I love that I can program my own weight and daily goal right on the pedometer itself.
You can buy the Ozeri Digital Pedometer for yourself, or order a few for your friends and family. You can also find out more about Ozeri on Facebook or their website.

Like Amanda, I have the Fitbit One as well. I love it, works like a charm. For a much more wallet friendly version, I’d look at the Ozeri though. Great little pedometer that packs a punch.

I used to use a pedometer and found that it encouraged me to keep active, just by helping me measure my movement. This pedometer has way more features than my old one. Thanks for the review–maybe I’ll get inspired to get walking again.

Pedometers are so neat. Such a great tool to help manage exercise. I am not sure I would like the “tri-axis”, I kind like the idea that all I would have to do is bounce my leg to make myself feel good 😉 Truthfully, I think accuracy would be good to have.

I’ve been able to use the Ozeri digital pedometer and love it (obviously). I may have to purchase a 2nd one for my husband, as he currently uses his smart phone but can’t take it onto the “floor” where he works.
Love that we can slip this in our pocket to be discreet and keep track of 30 days worth of data.
Ozeri definitely has some neat stuff.

I have the fit bit… and I have to say… it was shocking to see how much I actually move during the work hours…
