Ozeri WeightMaster II {Review}
So a package arrived last week in the mail from Ozeri, who I’ve done work with in the past. No problem, let’s see what we’ve got! A new…scale? It’s the new Ozeri WeightMaster II. Ahh, as exciting as this should be, honestly, it was a struggle to get pumped about a new scale (not a reflection on the company, but totally on me). Alright, let’s check this bad boy out!
The first thing I’ll admit is that the design is pretty slick. It’s done mostly in black and has non-skid material where you stand on to get beaten up weighed. It does look nice.
Now because I’m a geek, I read the instruction manual before I ever stood on the scale. Okay, it keeps track of up to 8 different users and it tracks your last 3, 7, and 30 recorded weigh-ins. That’s different and could really useful in a full house like we have.
OK, here goes nothing!
(Insert jokes, groans, and other fun noises that usually accompany a weigh-in)
Here are the pro’s for this scale:
- Weighs up to 440lbs
- Sleek design
- Easy to read display with LCD lights
- Provides visual feedback with either green or red light to indicate a weight loss or gain
- Microban treated to keep the bacteria and odors away
- Handles up to 8 users
- Non-slip feet that won’t scratch up the floor
- Ozeri offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
The only “negative” for me was the use of red for weight gain indication. Anyone that is consistently weighing themselves generally knows if they have gained or lost weight. So to “scream” at me with the numbers PLUS have them on a bright red background was not conducive to my weight management journey. Don’t get me wrong, I know lots of people can appreciate the…motivation, if you will, but some folks like myself just really found it to be difficult to deal with.
For me, the best feature had to be that it keeps track of your history automatically. I don’t have to synch it up with my computer or phone, and it can tell the difference between my big butt and my tiny teenage siblings (who, btw, now do a song and dance when they get the “green light”).
I’d definitely recommend this product for anyone who’s keeping tabs on their weight. And with keeping track of 8 profiles, a family can just keep 1 scale in the house instead of having 1 for each bathroom.
You can pick up your own WeightMaster II on Amazon or find out more information about them on the Ozeri website and through Facebook.
Disclosure: I received a free scale for my use in exchange for an honest and fair review; all opinions are completely honest and my own.
The Ozeri WeightMaster ll Scale is awesome. I love how it keeps tract of your weight and lets you know if you have lost or gained weight since your last weigh in..
I really like that there can be multiple users so both the mister and I can have our own profiles.
