Persil® Proclean Challenge
Having to manage the laundry for a large family is a challenge, but having to worry about clothes not getting clean in the washing machine is one challenge that I refuse to fight. Yes, I know there are certain “things” that have stumped me over the years..and I admit to tossing a couple of items that manged to beat even my best attempts at removing the whatever/does it matter stain that no one ever knows how it got there…
So when I was asked to take the Persil® Proclean Challenge..I was game. Bring it!
Honestly, I was not familiar with Persil® Proclean at all before this challenge.
According to their website, this is a product that is fairly new in the states and that they were just rated by ConsumerReports.org as “the best detergent they have ever tested”, ranking it 1st in their recently released results. Their site has a large section of “helpful laundry tips” that covered the A-Z of stains.
Take the Persil® Proclean Challenge
The current challenge is Love it! Or your money back.
You are invited to take Persil® Proclean for a spin. We’re sure you’ll love it. If you don’t, the bottle is on us and you get your money back. It’s that simple.
We took the challenge and used Persil® Proclean for week.
What were our results?
Pros:
~ We found that it cleaned our clothes as well as our homemade detergent but it “smelled nicer” according to one of the little ones.
~ The scent while strong upon opening the bottle does not leave an overpowering odor on the clothing.
~ The detergent rinsed completely and did not require the use of the 2nd rinse cycle.
~ Product worked the same in both top and front load machines.
Cons:
~ The cap is not marked clearly with portion lines so being consistent in pouring is hard – we did not get the 20 loads as stated on the label.
~ The shape of the bottle or dispensing portion is shaped so that it is difficult to get the last amount out of the bottle without leaving it to drain into another container. (This is a common problem with this type of container and not specific to this brand).
Overall:
We do not want our money back and we would recommend this product to friends. You can purchase Persil ProClean on Amazon or pick up at your local Walmart. It is also available in a granular and pouch options.
