This would have been so great when I was in college or working in a large office! Whether I spilled a little coffee, dropped some sauce at lunch, or got ink on my pants, I was always getting something on me! Yeah, there are wipes and pens on the market but those aren’t always strong enough.

Then I heard about a portable washing machine. At first, I thought they were talking about one that you could hook up to your sink or crank by hand at your campsite or something. But this is a battery operated “stain remover” really; you load the machine with just a little water, flip it on and rub the tip over the stain until it’s gone. No soap or detergent is required, but it can be helpful depending on the severity and composition of the stain.

It’s about the size of a can of hair spray and can easily fit into a purse, backpack, diaper bag, etc. Can you imagine having this if you’re a new mom? No more spit up stains on your shirts, pants, jacket…well, you get the point (that stuff gets everywhere)!

I would suggest putting down a towel or several paper towels between your cleaning surface and the material or you may end up with a large wet area instead of just removing a simple stain. Then I usually take clean paper towels and blot from both sides to soak up any extra water that may remain in the damp material. I think after a few uses, you can get a better feel for how much water you are using.
