Pratipad Silicone Pads
Hot pads or pot holders? I call them pot holders but my hubster calls them hot pads. Guess it’s the difference in being raised in the South vs the North. Either way we have managed to gather a drawer full of these puppies over the years!
While putting away laundry the other day I noticed potholders in with the towels which were in the upstairs linen closet. Yeah.. because every household needs them in their bathroom linen closet! After asking the multiple “Mr. Nobodies” that live here it was announced that they were placed there because the drawer for them in the kitchen was too full. hmmm… yep they were telling the truth. When all the pot holders are clean…you can’t get them all in the drawer.
Time to dig in and organize that drawer. Would you believe that we have over 30 pot holders? And at least 10 are well past their usefulness. We ditched 20 of the pot holders and pulled out the new Pratipads that had arrived for us to use and review.
NICE!!! They are nice!!
Just kidding, but the Pratipad is a multipurpose silicone pad that can be used as a pot holder, hot pad, trivet, jar opener, light bulb changer and a gripper to open that blasted child safety handle on the basement door that only the kids can get to open!
They come in set of two pads for under $10 on Amazon. What a deal!
The Pratipads are lightweight and offer superior heat protection. Their unique honeycomb pattern decreases weight & evenly distributes heat to better protect your hands and surfaces. They can be used under extreme temperatures from -40°F to 446°F (-40°C to 230°C) which makes them perfect to use in the oven, microwave, or freezer.
I like that they are top shelf dishwasher safe.
Pick up a couple of these pads today. They take up less room and have more uses than traditional pads. Amazon carries the Pratipads in 2-pack sets for under $10 with free prime shipping.
