Weed eating around the edges will make your lawn look better. I find it really makes a difference!
My hubby handles the lawn and starts by doing maintenance on our equipment, filling in bare patches , pulling weeds and putting out mulch.
This would look so cute in my yard. Great accent for a small perennial bed.
I would say to fertilize, water and mow.
Enjoy it! I love sitting outside just looking at everything being green!
We rake up any leftover leaves and sprinkle lawn fertilizer
My boyfriend takes care of the lawn care. I love how he mows rows as diagonal and looks so great. A few neighbors have copied his technique
TODAY….IT IS NICE AND WARM AND I WILL SAY JUST GO OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND THE GREEN GRASS. IT IS NOT RAINING.
We make sure to rake everything again since more leaves had fallen since the fall. Then we mow and put down grass seed in patchy areas. We have already weeded the yard as well and it’s looking good!
Planning to aerate the lawn this week!
I live in a condo where everything is done for me.
Tune up your mower. Change the oil. Clean the top and undercarriage
Fertilize early in the spring and water when necessary but don’t over water.
Apparently I can’t spell haha, I meant to say we MOW every few days.

mow often and keeps the weeds eliminated
Tune up your mower. Change the oil. Clean the top and undercarriage.
DON’T LET YOUR GRANDCHILDREN PICK ALL THE FLOWERS….JUST 1/2 OF THEM.
Don’t over water and fertilize in early spring and late fall.
I rake the lawn in the fall , and use wood chips to cover the soil around the plants. So when spring arrives, all I have to do is smell the flowers.
PAINTING SOME OF THE ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE PAINTED.
When re-seeding, water daily, but don’t overwater!
MY FAVORITE TIP IS TO WEED THE FLOWERS AND THEN GO OUT EVERYDAY AND LOOK AT THEIR BEAUTY.
When re-seeding, use a good quality seed. Cheaper seed usually results in poor results and lots of weeds!
I save boxes and flatten them and fold them to kneel on when I’m gardening. Then when I’m done I throw it away.
ALWAYS FERTILIZE YOUR FLOWERS AND YOUR LAWN.
PULL THE WEEDS OUT OF YOUR FLOWERS DAILY.
Seed the bare spots early in the Spring to give the new grass time to take root and get established before the weather gets too hot!
Get rid of the weeds regularly. The longer you let them go, the worse they get and the harder they are to keep under control.
beware grass planted spreads and competes with native plants for space
Perennials are great for people who want to spend less time and money.
I fertilize the garden
Cut the grass when it’s needed, but don’t cut it too short, especially in hot weather.
