Red Gold Monterey Jack Queso

Red Gold Monterey Jack Queso

Red Gold Monterey Jack Queso

White Queso dip is one of my favorite dips when eating out. So much so, that by the time my meal arrives… yeah you know..I am full of chips and dip!

I like making it at home with Red Gold Tomatoes because depending on the mood or the crowd, the dip can be spiced up or left mild. The seasonings in the tomatoes are perfect for this dip. Nothing else is needed but a spoon and something to spread it on!

Ingredients:
1 can Red Gold Tomatoes, petite diced (plain or with chilies)
1 package (8 ounces) Monterey Jack Cheese (block, shredded, jar – your choice)

Directions:
Combine tomatoes and cheese in a microwave safe dish and heat until cheese is melted and dish is bubbling.

Serve with chips, toasted bread rounds and fresh veggie sticks.

This sounds great! I also have the tendency to fill up on the chips and dip when I go to Mexican restaurants. I love making chilaquiles with Red Gold diced tomatoes with green chiles. I’m sure they’d be wonderful for spicing up the Monterey Jack just fine. I’ll have to try this!
