Keeping your phone available yet your hands free can be a challenge. Red Star Tec makes a carrier that holds up well and keeps my phone from being dropped when I am busy with the little ones.

This product is usually advertised as something to be used when exercising and it is great for that purpose. It holds your phone snugly but allows you to still use it if needed. Having my hands free but the phone close is great. I can strap on the arm band when cleaning, playing with the little ones or working in the yard.

I like that the plastic cover is thin enough that I can use the phone without having to take it out of the pouch.  The plastic cover is stiff so you have to press firmly to use the phone but it also protects the surface if dropped.

The arm band fits my arm and I consider myself to have rather large arms but it would be nice if the band were a little longer.

There is also a pocket for a key which would be useful when you don’t want to carry your entire keyring with you. I grab the extra house key and slip it in the pocket when going on a walk. Note to self, make an extra house key to keep in the pocket.

The only thing I found frustrating was that I have to remove my protective case in order to be able to get my phone to fit the arm band. Other than that, I like using this unit.
