 Do-It-Yourself Charm Bracelet Maker

Review for Crafty Bands

What a fun and neat gift idea!! Every little girl needs her own Do It Yourself Charm Bracelet Maker!

Review of Crafty Bands

Sarah (5 yrs old) and I used Crafty Bands to make a really cute personalized bracelet.

This crafting kit comes with a circular hole punch, 20 glue squares, 20 clear plastic bubble cups, 4 crafty bands, and 20 plastic crafty snaps that attach to the bands.

Review of Crafty Bands

There are four colors: pink, purple, green, and blue. No scrapbook paper or pictures are provided. We used scrapbook paper to make Sarah's bracelet, but thought it would be neat to use old Christmas cards to make a Christmas bracelet, family photos to make a personalized bracelet (especially for the first day of school or for going to camp), or even pieces of pretty gift wrap or stickers.

Review of Crafty Bands

Sarah enjoyed choosing exactly what pictures she wanted to use to make her band just the way she wanted it. She had some difficulty getting the paper out of the punch after she had punched it, but with some help, she was able to get it out and proceed with attaching it to the crafty snap.

Review of Crafty Bands

There are four bracelets with five holes each; totaling 20 holes for the 20 provided crafty snaps. There are also exactly 20 glue squares and bubble cups.

It would have been helpful to have one or two extra glue squares and bubble cups for when she had trouble getting the glue onto the little circle of paper, but otherwise, it was a very easy and fun project for her to do with just a little help from her mom. She was able to do just about all of the steps herself with the exception of snapping the craft snap onto the bracelet. They were hard to get on there, but are on securely, so that is a plus.

The band fits her wrist well and doesn't fall off. This was not a messy project at all and was fun for both of us. They are quick to make with the majority of the time spent choosing what paper to use on each one. We loved working on this together and will likely purchase these bands again to make more.

What a fun craft and I am sure any little girl would love to wear and show off a bracelet she made by herself (with a little help from Mom-but no one needs to know that!)
