Get Relief with doTERRA Breathe
Over the last couple of months I have been trying dōTERRA Breathe®. It couldn’t have come at a better time as allergies and the warmer weather has everyone in their yards working. And while I love the smells of yard work..oh boy; my allergies kick in and I am one miserable lady.
I had heard a lot about this essential oil blend. According to what I read, dōTERRA Breathe® Essential Oil Blend seems to be good for just about anything. The literature states it is an Anti-bacterial, Anti-viral, Anti-fungal treatment. It also is good to use as an expectorant when the congestion builds from colds and allergies.
Let me start by saying I LOVE THE SCENT! I could just leave the bottle open on my desk. I tried diffusing the oil but you don’t have the same intense scent so I prefer to just smell the bottle a couple of times a day.
As suggested in the packaging, I applied several drops to the bottom of my feet before going to bed. I did not take any other medications for my cough or sinus troubles and still found that I slept better and didn’t wake up with coughing quite as much. After a couple of days, I noticed that I was coughing less and my chest wasn’t as tight from the congestion.
I also suffer from Arthritis pain. Stiff joints make for one unhappy lady. When I read that this product was helpful in relieving this type of pain I was ready to give it a try. I mixed a couple of drops in just a little coconut oil and rubbed the mixture on one of my knees. Since they both hurt me all the time, I thought this would be a decent test of the product. After several weeks, I do feel there is a good amount of improvement in the pain and motion in the area treated. I am now applying the blend daily before bed.
According to the product information, Breathe can be applied directly to your body. It is suggested that it can be applied to the chest, back, neck, temples and behind the ears of most adults. It is recommended to mix with equal parts in a carrier oil such as coconut oil if using on a child or anyone with sensitive skin.
While I am not a small child, I have to mix it in oil too. If applying to my feet it is okay to use directly, any where else and I have to mix it to prevent burning of the skin.
There are several places and lots of people that sell this product. Just for convenience, I recommend visiting Amazon to grab a bottle of the doTerra Breathe Essential Oil Blend (aff link) for yourself.
