Ripley’s in Gatlinburg {Review}
We recently spent a few days in Gatlinburg, TN, and got to explore all the fun attractions along the parkway! Several places that shouldn’t be missed are the Ripley’s in Gatlinburg museums and activities!
There are 8 Ripley attractions to check out when you’re in town, weather and time permitting. Be sure to check out the combo passes they offer because you get a great deal, especially to visit multiple sites! And they are good for a year from purchase date, so you can go back and still use them on another visit!
Here is a list of what is available with Ripley’s in Gatlinburg:
- Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
- Ripley’s Believe It or Not
- Ripley’s Haunted Adventure
- Ripley’s Enchanted Mirror Maze
- Ripley’s 3-D Moving Theater
- Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf
- Ripley’s Old MacDonald Mini-Golf
- Ripley’s Guinness World Records Museum
The only place in Gatlinburg where you’ll find shrunken heads, a 12ft tall Transformer sculpture made of scrap car parts, an authentic vampire killing kit, one-of-a-kind artwork, tons of hands-on interactives, and a wicked spinning vortex tunnel!
This place has over 12,00 square feet of galleries and weird/cool things to see, spread over 3 floors!
The Haunted Adventure takes haunted houses to the next level. Live actors lurk behind every corner of this creepy renovated mansion, just waiting to “welcome” you to their home.
That high pitched scream you hear…yea that’s you. But remember, you must be at least 6 years old to enter, if you dare!
This one is definitely not for everyone, and you do have to be at least 6 years old to enter. They have live actors roaming around, it’s not just robots and machines! People coming out of this place were loud and excited, and maybe a little scared, but definitely had their hearts racing! I wouldn’t go by myself if I were you!
Ripley’s Enchanted Mirror Maze:
Hey! Who’s that good looking person in the mirror? That’s you! You’ll come face-to-face with your cute mug over and over as you attempt to find your way out of our labyrinth of mirrors and LED lights.
Don’t worry, we send search parties every half hour.
Fun for the whole family! There are a ton of mirrors and lights, made to confuse you as you try to figure out which way to go! There’s only 1 exit but it may take you a while to find it.
It’s going to be a bumpy ride. Better strap on your seat belts for this seriously REAL-D 3D Moving Theater experience. Our state of the art theater with digital effects and motions seats will have you feeling like you’re in the movie!
Bump, dip, and shake your way through our Rats Race and Winter Wipeout adventures. We advise expectant mothers and people with certain medical conditions not to ride this ride.
Slip on your glasses, strap on your seat belt, and hang on tight as you enjoy the two movies! Definitely safe for kids and families and it certainly is a great time for everyone in the group!
Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf:
With the Great Smoky Mountains as the backdrop, this fun-themed course replicates the “old days” when a Tennessee hero named Davy Crockett roamed “them thar hills”.
Win free games with your hole in one shots! Lots of critters, tricky shots and lots of laughs as you complete the course.
Ripley’s Old MacDonald Mini-Golf:
With 18 holes of “down on the farm” family fun, this mini-golf course features animated barnyard characters, water features, and interactive elements at every turn. We’re just outside of Gatlinburg, in nearby Sevierville.
While this adventure is definitely weather permitting, you are required to have fun! This course was loaded with families and even couples enjoying a good time as they competed and showed off their skills around the holes.

I love Gatlinburg!! Its such a pretty area and there is so much to do! I think my kids would enjoy visiting all of these places, but I think they would enjoy the min golf and haunted house best.

I have been to Gatlinburg so many times and have never visited any of these. I don’t know why but it sounds like I really missed some fun times. I will definitely check these out the next time I visit. Thank you so much for sharing
