RTGS Micro LED String Lights {Review}

I live in a crafty household, and when it comes to costumes and accessories, I am always looking for inexpensive and creative ways to work lights or light-up features into our outfits and figurines. Now that I’ve been introduced to RTGS Micro LED String Lights, I think I have found the perfect solution!

RTGS products make these great LED string lights that come on silver colored wire. This makes them super thin and flexible, so much so that I can actually sew them into our fabrics whether I’m using them on the brim of a hat or around the hem line of a skirt. And they are LED lights, so they are really bright and are designed to last for 20 years or more.

The light strands are also submersible (not the battery box though) so if you want to use them to light up a fish tank or wrap them around the edge of a fountain or pool, I think they’d work out great. RTGS Products also offers a 2 year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee!

What I really love is the different colors they are available in! Here’s what they offer:

• 100 Micro LED String Lights: These are powered by a plug and have a 6′ clear cable to give you room to plug it in out of sight. The bulbs are a warm white light color and the total length of the strand runs about 30′.
• 60 Micro LED String Lights: Completely battery operated and they have a timer feature as well! These come in a cold white or warm white light color, and the cable runs about 21′ long. The battery pack is a little bulky, so I make sure it can be slipped into a pocket before I sew it in place.
• 30 Micro LED String Lights: Also battery operated but it has a smaller battery pack than the 60 light strand. They last about 48 hours if left in the “On” position, or over 14 days if you use the “Timer” setting. They are safe for indoor or outdoor use and they do not get hot to the touch, which is important when you’re wearing them on your costume pieces or in your child’s room. These lights come in warm white or cold white shades.
• 20 Micro LED String Lights: These are probably my favorite of their products because of how thin the wire is and how lightweight the battery pack is! The total cord is about 7′ and they come in 6 different colors to choose from (warm white, cold white, pink, green, blue and red).

And because they are strung on wire, they can be bent and twisted and hold their shape!
