If you live anywhere that get humid, you will wonder how you survived before using this unit!

We have had units in our basements for years because of the dampness, but we placed this on one the main level near in my office. Talk about surprised that the tank was filled in less than a day! I had no idea my office was so humid. You can feel the difference.

I am happy with this unit and have plans to purchase one for our upstairs area. It really does make a difference in how comfortable your home feels in the summer months.

As you can see, this unit can handle most homes which will save you money by allowing you to raise the temperature setting on your air conditioning unit. According to the US government site on utility expenses around the USA, you can save up to $5 a month for each degree you increase your thermostat.

Depending on the traffic patterns (we are a large family that really should have a revolving door), I have been able to bump up the thermostat at least 4 degrees on most days (I usually maintain it at 70 degrees) and another  2-3 degrees at night.
