Scrubba Dub Dub with Daddy Duck and Rubber Duck {Review}
We love to read in my house, including my young son. He also happens to love bath time; how can these two loves be made into one? Here’s where Scrubba Dub Dub with Daddy Duck and the rubber duck are just what we needed!
This is from Daddy & Company and it’s a wonderful story about Daddy Duck who tries to keep activities fun for his ducklings, and that includes bath time. This tub friendly book tells the story about how Daddy Duck keeps bath time enjoyable with races, contests and other wet bubbly excitement.
My son is able to take the book into the tub with him (which he thought was awesome) and also the sweet Daddy Rubber Duck that came along with the book. He likes to pretend that Daddy Duck is acting along with the story and he even gets a few of his other bath time toys involved in the action. One night we had several action heroes in on the races!
I love that the book is safe for the water and that he can play with it on his own or with Mom or Dad, whoever is supervising bath time for the night. Also, the rubber Daddy Duck doesn’t have one of those drainage holes on the bottom so he doesn’t get yucky on the inside!
We can read it with him, or let him look at the illustrations as he plays with the ducks in his bath. He wants to take it to the pool the next time we go, and why not? It’s safe for the water and I’m certain the other kids his age would enjoy it just as much as he does.
You can buy your own Scrubba Dub Dub with Daddy Duck book and Daddy Rubber Duck today from Daddy & Company. Bring the laughter and smiles into your child’s life (and the tub too of course)!
