Simple Salmon

Simple Salmon

Ingredients:

2-4 cloves garlic, finely minced (or 1 tablespoon jarred)
2 teaspoons lemon pepper (Fresh ground is wonderful too)
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 stick softened butter (use the real stuff… makes a difference!)
4 salmon fillets (4 to 6 ounces each)
1 lemon cut into wedges (optional)

Remove Salmon from packaging and place on a baking pan that has been sprayed with non stick spray.

Sprinkle salmon fillets on both sides with lemon pepper and salt.

In small bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Spoon mixture on top of salmon and spread with back of spoon (or your hands)

Bake in 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until done. Mine is usually ready to come out of the oven around 15 minutes but we like ours still pink inside. After 12 minutes, it is good to go – adjust timing to your preferences.

Serve with lemon wedges.

And according to one of my daughter's… they are great for a leftover breakfast!

I had to share this recipe with the hubs since I don’t eat fish, but he thinks we should make it.

Thanks for the recipe! We just had Salmon for dinner tonight. I just used some olive oil, sea salt and paprika. I’ll have to try this recipe next time.

I’m not a big salmon fan, but it does seem simple 🙂

    Thanks for sharing!
